Leave Our Statues, Give Us Rassie and Kolisi
The recent barbarism from none other than the EFF proves to us again how the only thing Malema’s cohorts are good at is breaking down, whilst others, such as Afriforum and the private sector, want to build our country upwards.
Kallie Kriel from Afriforum is known for his intelligence and his no-nonsense approach when it comes to dealing with the communistic ‘Freedom Fighters’, and we salute him for showing some backbone, whilst using the law to wage war with nefarious forces in our country. Malema’s EFF recently demanded the removal of the Paul Kruger monument at Church Square in Pretoria, during a Parliament sitting. In classic Red Beret fashion, they had vandalized this Afrikaner heritage and showed a complete disregard for the pride of our forefathers. All this in the same week as Heritage Day, of course…
As a White Afrikaner myself, I’d like to show my unequivocal support for Kallie Kriel and all who fight for our rich heritage. “This country belongs to all who live in it”, ….so Ramaphosa always says! The only problem is, he does absolutely nothing to put a leash on Malema and his tyrants. All responsibility then falls onto the shoulders of the citizenry, as well as Minority groups such as Solidarity, Afriforum, OUTA and others.
On a lighter note, how great would it be to erect statues of our brilliant rugby coach, Rassie Erasmus, and our Captain Fantastic, Siya Kolisi! After the drumming of New Zealand’s poor All Blacks at Wellington and the obliteration of the Argies by the Springboks at Kings Park in Durban, how can we as South Africans not demand that these 2 sporting greats be displayed in our towns and city gardens! What the Boks have done to unite us is way more than the government has ever done, given the billions of hard-earned tax money that have been so unceremoniously squandered by the ANC cadres! It’s not surprising at all that anything the Boks achieve is downplayed or sometimes even ignored by Ramaphosa and his ANC Babies. After all, why show the country how to be united, right? Just now, we might just catch on, and the ANC will lose all of its ability to divide and rule. No wonder there are no statues of the true heroes of our time!
