R450 Million Gone: The ANC’s “National Dialogue” Is A Taxpayer-Funded Con Job

This wasn’t about dialogue. It was about money, ideology, and control.

South Africans have been conned again. The ANC announced its grand “National Dialogue” with a staggering R450 million budget, claiming it would heal divisions and build consensus. Instead, what unfolded was predictable chaos, with taxpayers’ money siphoned into the pockets of ANC insiders and ideological foot soldiers.

At the center of this farce is Jonelle Naude, head of the NNI Dialogue Institute. Her background? Not in grassroots reconciliation or economic recovery, but in pushing radical theories and re-engineering social norms. Her thesis on “reconstructing pedophilia” alone should have been disqualifying—yet this is the figure Ramaphosa’s government chose to manage South Africa’s national conversation.

What exactly is the NNI Dialogue Institute? Another slick NGO that talks about “systemic transformation” and “inclusive change”—buzzwords that mask a leftist agenda of dismantling tradition while charging R15,000 per lecture. It’s not about dialogue. It’s about indoctrination—paid for with your money.

Even the ANC’s traditional allies—foundations named after Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko, and Desmond Tutu—want nothing to do with this charade. They saw through it: the Dialogue was never about listening. It was a stage-managed ANC project, designed to justify its destructive policies while rewarding its loyal contractors.

South Africans must ask: how many schools, clinics, and power stations could R450 million have funded? Instead, it bought chaos, propaganda, and empty rhetoric.

This isn’t a dialogue. It’s a taxpayer-funded insult. And the fact that figures with backgrounds like Naude’s are placed at the center of it should make every South African furious.
